Terms of Use

Last updated

By using testnook.com ("Testnook", "we", "us") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the tools

Testnook provides free browser-based tools for checking hardware such as keyboards, mice, controllers, screens, speakers, microphones and cameras. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including in a shop or repair setting, free of charge.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is". Browser tests depend on your device, operating system, drivers and browser, and results can differ from manufacturer diagnostics. We do our best to keep every tool accurate, but we do not guarantee that results are complete or error-free, and they should not be the only basis for a purchase, return or repair decision.

Sound, light and flashing content

Some tools play tones or show rapidly changing colours. Start with a low volume and keep headphones away from your ears when a tone starts. Do not use flashing tools if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights. Tools that play low tones to clear water from speakers are used at your own risk.

Health-related tests

Any hearing or vision checks on Testnook are for general information and curiosity only. They are not medical tests and do not replace an examination by a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Testnook is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or its tools, including damage to hardware or hearing caused by misuse.

Embedding

You may embed our tools using the embed code provided on each tool page, as long as you keep the credit link and do not present the tool as your own.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
